“The Snowman” is back to his old ways on this 14-track album entitled “Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition.” You should already know what to expect if you have listened to any of his prior albums – the graduation from the grimy street life to one full of glitz and gangstified power. Nevertheless, his creative metaphors along with those intoxicated 808s make a beautiful marriage, so he doesn’t need to stray too far away from what has made the Atlanta-based rapper successful since the genesis. As I flowed through his album, I felt that Jeezy is out to prove that he is a permanent fixture in the rap game – my mistake – the music industry. He declares his legacy will not be forgotten even after his death, which makes me think he is equipping himself to be a legend in the game with his jersey lifted to the rafters with that of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. Of course, it is waaay to early for that call but when it comes to street music Jeezy is one of the best.
