The trio from Miike Snow, Andrew Wyatt, Christian Karlson, and Pontus Winnberg, is preparing to release their second album entitled Happy To You on March 27th and is set to incorporate a fresh sound to their repertoire – orchestras and marching bands. "We had more time with this album – last time, we just played around in the studio and we didn’t even know if there was going to be a record,” said Karlson. "This time, we knew we were doing a record, so we did it exactly the way we wanted to. We had full orchestra, strings – whatever we wanted to do with this one,” he added.

This is their second album and the trio is already exploring new grounds. Their debut album was well received and plenty of fans are attached to that particular set noise. Consequently, Miike Snow is going to have to be able to keep their original fans happy while introducing these new instrumentations. “Before this album, we were an idea. This time we were a band. And this time, we had paid our dues – we’d toured in 27 countries for 18 months. When we came in to make Happy To You, we came in as a unit, and emotionally for us that makes a huge difference. And hopefully you can hear it,” Winnberg commented.

The Swedish band’s first released track, “Devil’s Work,” from their upcoming album is a great showing of their new sound mingled in with their acquainted electro-popish, dance rhythms. "There’s a few songs that have the instant Miike Snow sound, and there's definitely parts of this record that belong to this record; it's an extension of what we started, I feel,” said Karlson. Although their newly released track’s chorus is par, the piano loops and horns keep the song balanced and intriguing. Check it out!
