Last night in New York, Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed a baby girl into the world. She was delivered naturally and her name is Blue Ivy Carter, and the two are doing well. Moreover, the power couple chose the name “Ivy” because of the significance of the number “4” or “IV”, according to Good Morning America. Jay-Z was born on December 4^th and Beyonce was born on September 4^th. Even further, the two were married on April 4^th and Beyonce’s last album is entitled 4.
 
The New York Daily News reported that she checked into the Lenox Hill Hospital on Manhattan’s Upper Eastside on Friday night and was signed in under the name “Ingrid Jackson.” The famed musicians rented out the entire fourth floor of the hospital for $1.3 million according the report and an observer told Us Weekly that the rap mogul, Jay-Z, was walking the halls Saturday morning appearing “happy.” The witness also mentioned that Beyonce’s immediate family brought “flowers with pink balloons and silver and black ribbons” for the couple and their newborn. Furthermore, visitors of the three were seen bringing food and wine to the heavily guarded hospital wing where an apparent celebration was taking place. As of yet, there has not been an official confirmation of the birth.
