The teenage daughter of Master P, Cymphonique Miller, is set to star in a new series on Nickelodeon. The show called "How To Rock" is scheduled to premiere on February 4th of next year after she secured the gig earlier this year. So far, the show is receiving positive reviews from critics. According to the New York Times, the show "has an extra ingredient that can propel the series beyond TV into a full-blown pop culture phenomenon: Cymphonique Miller."
The live-action comedy series has been scheduled for 20 upcoming episodes and has already begun production in Los Angeles. According to a spokeswoman, Nickelodeon has produced an eight-part video series to introduce the new starlet to viewers to promote the series. “I tried everything in my power to stop this girl, this can be a hard, sick business – really easy to get taken advantage of,” her famous father declared. “I guess you can't hold raw talent back,” he continued. Moreover, she has released a track called “Only You Can Be You” this past Christmas, which is now available on iTunes. The song will be performed by her on the first episode of the season. "We're hoping for great things from Cymphonique – a big, fat, giant hit," Margie Cohn, Nickelodeon's president for original programming, commented. "That's what I've been working for with this series, so why not say it?” she added.
